Southern Style Sweet Tea

With the days growing warmer it's nice to have a cool glass of tea on hand. This recipe makes the best Sweet Tea I've ever sipped. Referred to lovingly as 'go-juice'. You'll want to drink the whole pitcher. Our advice: go slow. It packs a wallop! (You'll wonder why you can't fall asleep.

Place two family-size flow-through tea bags in a small saucepan with 4 cups water. Suggestion: Luzianne brand.

Bring to a full boil. Remove from heat and allow to steep for five minutes.

Place it back on the burner and bring it to a second boil.

Remove from heat, squeeze teabags over tea to get all of tea out; and stir in 2/3 cup sugar until dissolved.

Fill a two-quart container with ice. Pour tea with dissolved sugar over the ice. Fill container the rest of the way with cold water.

Enjoy!
