The weatherman has been threatening snow for the last couple of weeks and it has finally arrived. Am hoping it doesn't stick around for fear of losing all the plums as the flowers on both trees are almost all open.

Spent most of yesterday reading Take What You Can Carry.  

The title reminded me of the Boy scout motto BE PREPARED. 

Did you know: I carry a day pack in my car with a rain jacket, two pair of socks, water shoes, long and short sleeve shirts, hat, scarf, TP, soap, shampoo, fire starter, etc. It's a hold over from both happy times (road trips) and fearful times (walking on eggshells days).
